How I know? I worked in the zoo before! Nah… Visit the zoo also hardly. 
I came to know about it as I was reading OBD last Friday titled Pachyderm Pedicures. That’s pedicure term for elephants. If elephants in captivity don’t get regular foot care, they are prone to infections that can be fatal.
I was curious how it is done so, I Google search about it and found this video. However I don’t see the lady using any elephant flipper to hold the elephant. Must be a very tame elephant. 
I was reading the RBC’s Daily Bread date July 10, 2007. The first paragraph goes…
Why do smart people do not-so smart things? Time after time I hear sad stories about people with high IQs who fall short in the area of moral discernment, leading to tragic results. Obviously, a good brain isn’t enough to keep a person from making bad choices.
This is so true. I know someone that is very smart but due to lust, that person committed sinned. That person repented and God forgave, I’m sure about it but I just can’t grasp it until now how someone who is so strong spiritually in the Lord and wise did such stupid thing. Sometimes I blame myself for what that person has done (pls don’t ask why).
Come to think of it, can’t really blame that person coz even King Solomon, the wisest and smartest man who ever lived disobeyed God by marrying foreign women and turn his heart after other gods. (1 King 11:4). King David, a man after God’s heart sins after he caught his eyes on the sexy Bathsheeba.
I realize that most of the time man fall because of woman. It all started when Eve told Adam to eat the forbidden apple. Why man becomes weak with woman’s sexy body, woman’s word and woman’s touch? Why God allows this to happen?
Yes. If the wife is with the Lord. Remember the marriage vow? Till death do us part. Not divorce, but death. So, if you divorced your spouse, you cannot re-marry even if the spouse married another person. If you desire to live a life that is pure and blameless, you should not re-marry.
The main reason is that Jesus Himself said that when a man and a woman marry, the two shall become one. Try taking one complete picture and break it apart. It is no longer nice to see and you know that something is wrong. They have become one not just through the physical act of consummation but also one in the spirit. That is why a divorce is a painful tragedy. Try breaking or tearing apart your hands. It is painful, and likewise a divorce. What God has joined as one, let no man break it apart.
Let’s use the complete picture again as an analogy. When it is torn apart, it is definitely out of the mind to try to put part of another different picture and combine it together. That is not the original picture as it is intended to be. Likewise, God has a beautiful picture of you and your spouse. You break it apart with a divorce, but don’t bring in another who is not in the original plan of God. Unless, the spouse died and God will paint a new picture of you.
I am so blessed to have a husband that really helps me a lot taking care of our children. When I have one, I always complaint to God on why my husband did not help me ease my burden of taking care of his first born. If I recall correctly, he never wake up to make milk for her. The same with the 2nd child but now with 3, and a not so complicated family problem, he takes care of them more than me. From 1pm to 8.30pm, the children are his. He feeds them, he get them to nap, he plays with them and he bathe them.
Few days already, the children sleeps by 9pm. So, they are solely mine for only half an hour.
Thank you so much dear for your love for me and the children. I love you much and forever will be.
