I also agree with what Jaycee said.

I also think the verse "…love is not jealous…" could mean we should not feel jealous to the extend that we have bad thoughts or hurt the other person (example, the woman who closely associate with your husband) and justify our act by the name of LOVE. God do not want us to create disharmony in our marriage and I think that's why God teaches us this.

And the verse "…love is not self-seeking…" could simply mean we should not seek to love ourself more than others. Instead, we should seek for ways to love others more.

Maybe if we try to give thanks to God more often, then we can ward off jealousy, selfishness, insecurity and others bad thoughts little by little? For me, sometimes it helps when I pause for a moment and try to think of what would Jesus do in that situation.

It's ok to feel weird when ur husband holds someone else's hand, that's because u LOVE him, and it's a natural kind of love that God has placed on the inside of every woman for her husband...read proverbs 31...the provs 31 woman was protective over her husband and her family.

Where it becomes bad is when this love turns into an extreme form of jealousy, for instance if you actually start despising and hating people who laugh with, talk to, or hold hands with him...yes, it would mean u may not be that trusting of ur husband. It may lead to the fear that ur husband will leave u for someone else. But the bible says clearly that "Fear is NOT of God, for PERFECT LOVE casts out all fear..."

I love ur truthful honest post, and hope my response rids u off ur fear, and causes u to feel secure in being protective, but NOT over-protective (over-protectiveness results as a lack of trust)...

You definitely love him. Like msaufong, I believe in my husband too. So, believe in your husband more. He chose you and you should be rest assured that he loves you.

Nope.. You love your hubby so much. Just that you might be too worry on lose him again. so you pamper him and let him do the things he likes.

Do you really feel so insecure? That is problem ler..how to living with insecure feeling like that? you better trust him or forget about him (what can't satisfy u).

I am sure will jealous and don't want to share my fatty lah. However, I believe in him, so I feel more secure. And hor...my fatty not handsome mah ..
