Dating Night

Come to think of it, we have not really gone dating for quite a while. We do go out without the children but with errants to do.

Thursday is usually our dating night and we went out last night without any plan or errant to do. We went for a simple dinner at a nearby restaurant, ate our favorite Seafood Tomyam Beehoon then we took a stroll at the beach. Walking and talking about everything. From business, to the children, to the house and also our bedding!

I really enjoy this kind of night. Holding hands as though we are still single and no cares in the world. :)

Exploring

We had fun last night, exploring new places.

Left the children behind, we went shopping. Finally hubby bought the punching bag that he has been eyeing for. Then we went to a phone shop and got hubby’s hp repaired. When asked for hubby’s name, they (Malay) were surprised that hubby is not a Malay. Even the Malay can’t differentiate hubby’s look.

We received a lot of attention from other people too. A Chinese Girl and A Malay Guy. I think, it must be hubby’s new glasses. It makes him look more Malay and a very handsome one too.

We explored other places too, and it is in my protected post. Sorry, it is not for the public to read, just for us to remember. I hope I won’t be needing any maternity clothes soon. :P

My Love Story

This post is taken from my children’s blog.

I was chatting with Chinnee and she asked me about my love story. This is what I found. :)

Watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai on TV3 last night (from 11pm until 2am). A Hindi movie acted by Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee and Salman Khan. I seldom watch Hindi movies but not this one. I watched this movie many many times until the pirated VCD cannot be played anymore! No matter how many times I watch it, I will sure shed tears.

This time around, I watched it with hubby.

Just the 2 of us.
Rest my head on his broad shoulder.
Arms wrapped around his muscular body.
My sexy legs, wrapped around his hairy leg.

Very rare occasion. Coz most of the time, either the children or mom-in-law will be around.

The movie reminds me so much of my love story and my first love. First time watching it when I was still with my ex. Dreaming and hoping that he will be as sporting as Salman Khan to let me go to my first love. And my first love will actually confess that he still loves me and saved me from marrying my ex. Well, not going into details here. You can read more about it here.

Even after the movie ended, I still shed tears while lying in bed thinking about movie and my past. I am so relieved that it is my hubby besides me, not my ex. But the thought is not enough. I requested for us to become one. It was a sweet moment of a union between 2 lovers plus a beautiful sexy lingerie.

Thank you Lord for blessing us with each other.

Men Don’t Have Common Sense

I think I have mentioned a few times that man will only do things as instructed. If you tell him A, he will do A. Nothing more, nothing less. They won’t use their common sense one. But I kept forgetting it.

This is what happened just now.

I woke up late and have no time to send our son to my mom’s.

So I told hubby to send our son to my mom before he goes to work.

You guess what? He sent my son only…without his milk and water bottle.

Here’s our tele-conversation:

Dear, I did not bring Barnabas bottle to your mom’s.
I told you to send my son, you send my son only lar?!!
Yalor.
So, I must tell you to send my son and his bottles lar?
Yalor.
Why man like that one?
Yalor.

Cekik darah or not???

He is Down

As I was checking my email, hubby sent me message that he is not feeling well. He is down with runny nose and headache. My heart drops to my tummy! I feel the pain that he has to suffer.

When I called the shop around 5pm, his staff told me that he left the shop. He must be very sick. Quickly rush home after work to him. In the room, he was lying there motionless.

I must try make him feel better. Asked him whether he wants fruits, any special food like soup or porridge, fruit juices? So I ended up at pasar malam with my second girl to buy fruits, tauhuhua and more fruits.

So glad that he is up and walking after eating.

But then ah, when I fall sick, how come I don’t get the same treatment as him? :P

He could at least ask me whether I wanna go shopping. Sure the healing process is expedite.

You’ve Got Mail

u got mail

I just watched You’ve Got Mail for dunno how many times. TV2 showing it just now. My VCD is at my mom’s. Dunno whether can still watch or not.

I can’t believe that it has been 10 years already. I love the show because I can’t get enough of looking at Meg Ryan’s manja face. The way she talks, her eyes, her smiles and her lips. And she has that girlish behaviour. Very cute.

10 years ago when I watch, I was always hoping to receive email from my ex (my now hubby). And email that says that he broke off with his girlfriend because he is still in love with me. Notti eh, me? hehe.

Today I watched with our 2 girls. My second girls asked me to repeat the part where she was dancing with her mother in the shop with cabinet hardware that are empty. The shop is closed for business.

Oh! I did not receive any email from him then. :(

How Did We Celebrate Valentine’s Day

We dressed in our most comfortable clothes. Me in my baby T and jeans and him in his slack and T-shirt. Then we head to a Malay warong near the beach. Yes, we dine in a warong. Not romantic at all right? Hehehe. Romance can wait later. ;)

Main thing, we get our food quick and we don’t have to queue for parking or even to get into the restaurant.

We ordered our favorite.

ayam

Ayam Golek; grilled chicken. Something similar to Kenny Roger’s Roaster but kampong style.

john

Roti John. I love soaking the sardines coated bread in the chili sauce before savoring it.

tomyam

Tomyam Bee Hoon. Hot and Sour, a very good appetizer.

Half of the Roti John has to be packed and take away. Too much food for us to finish.

Then we head to the nearest supermarket to get a bottle of lotion and bathroom lights. What did we do with it? “It” is the lotion, not the lights. :P That is for us to remember and for you to wonder. :P

Hubby reminded me about the date just now. Alamak I forgot!!!

16 years ago on the 12th of February we officially became a couple. I can’t really remember what happened on that day. I wish I kept a blog then, so I just need to search for the date and read what happened.

Maybe that was the first time he holds my hand.

2 days after that was our first Valentine’s. Argghhh!!! I wish I can remember what happened!

Did we sit facing the espresso machines, sipping our favorite drinks? Did he buy me any flowers? I doubt it because we were only student.

Well, what is important now that we are together now and will be together for a very long time.

Where are My Goodies

I thought my review on the Lovebites was not approved when I read that others who has done the same got their goodies.

So I sent a note to Elina asking about the status.

Well, it seems that the courier man couldn’t find my kampong house! So I gave them my office address.

So wondering what did I get? I wish it is the Coaster furniture. Hehehe.

I got 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners and a flip flop. One of the shampoos is Anti-Flat. Oh no! I like my hair to look straight and flat so I gave that to my colleague who really has a flat and thin hair. ;)

Blessing and Testing

After a year of contemplating and trying to do things our way and not God’s way, we surrendered and obey. We are closed every Sunday to honor God’s Day.

For the month of January we see God’s blessing like never before. The highest sales so far was in the month of January. Finally hubby have some salary in January.

This month, we are being tested. Not only this is the shortest month of the year, this month is also CNY which we will be closed for at least 3 days. And so far the sales has been very low. If it continues like this, I wonder whether we will have enough to cover cost.

Anyway, we are trusting that God will bless. He did, many times in our life before. We just need to keep on obeying His commands and trust Him.

What is Medicare Part D

Alamak, I got this assignment to write about medicare part d. Why Part D? What happened to Part A-C? Why Part D is so important? So I have to dig the website and do some Google search lar.

Well, Medicare Part D is for people who have very high drug costs. So the US federal government sponsor the cost of their drugs. It the same like we taking free drugs from our government clinic and hospital. But for them, they can also get them for free at the participating pharmacies in their area.

Physical Touch

My language of love has changed! It used to be, Primary: Quality Time and Secondary: Act of Service. I did the test again last week. Primary is still the same but my Secondary is now Physical Touch. I think it is true that I am more hamsap now!

Hello! Stop giggling! I am NOT okay! :P

I think partly because I am older now, have grown out of shape and more wrinkles popping up. So I need hubby’s touch more than before to re-affirm that he still wants me and my body is still sexy to him! hahahahaha
