The crazy lovebirds. The nickname given by hubby’s niece; Hilda.

We were enjoying our BBQ dinner on a swing under a durian tree.

This is hubby, having his share of stirring the Dodol. It is a blessing having so many boys in the family. Each of them took turns to stir the Dodol which takes almost 4 hours of non-stop stirring for it to be cooked. This tops up with weight loss pills, I am sure you will definitely loose weight if you do this every week!

The result is very satisfying because the Dodol tasted soooo much nicer than those machine made. And most importantly, the fellowship and bonding that is created during the process of making the Dodol.

We are looking for a good tv deals so that we can buy a few for the shop. Then we are going to hook them up with PS2. Hope this would be able to attract more customers.

With the economic slow down, our business is really affected. We are wondering where are our regulars went to? According to others who knew them, they are not at other internet cafe. I guess, they are saving their money for the future which looks quite bleak.

I hope, in all this, we the Christians will keep on believing that God will surely provide for us and not panic.

Chinese New Year is in 2 days time. Our home is not ready yet to welcome this Chinese New Year. We are waiting for hubby’s brothers to return to do the final preparation like decorating the house; I can’t do the climbing and the washing of house’s floor. They do this every year on Chinese New Year’s eve. Apart from that, I wish we can buy some lights from Progress lighting because certain part of our house is quite dark. Maybe more spot lights so that the children can play outdoor at night.

I just discovered that I do not know where the inlet to pour the engine lubricants is! And I have been driving for 10 years! And worked in a lubricant manufacturing company for 9 years!

2 days ago, I top-up the brake fluid and also checked the level of the engine lubricant. The level is half, meaning it i time to top up but I just didn’t know which cap to open to pour the lubricant in.

All this while I only top up the water for the radiator. Other than that, all done either by my dad, hubby or the mechanic!

And please don’t ask me what is coilovers? I will tell you that it is “someone who loves coils.”

Hubby is looking for other small business opportunities. Income from one internet cafe is not enough to support our family. Hubby just found out from the hair saloon owner a few doors away from hubby’s shop that our government has a special grant to help small business that is just starting. Through this special grant, half of his rental for one year is subsided by the government. Felt regretted we didn’t know about this when we just started. So if we ever start another internet cafe or a computer shop, we will surely apply for this grant.

Honestly, I don’t like cooking; especially when I am pregnant now. First it was the morning sickness; can’t stand the smell of fried onion and garlic. Then now after the morning sickness is gone, my protruding tummy always got heated up when I cook! And my leg can’t stand the standing.

But I still cook for the sake of my children but it will be an instant one; fried Bee Hoon with Stew Pork. Kinda unhealthy actually; very oily and can food some more! I need to learn more about healthy cooking since I will feed 5 mouths soon.

My daughter was asking me why her cousin sister is special. Well, this niece of mine has cerebral palsy you see. She can’t communicate like other children and she uses sign language most of the time. My girl wanted to know the reason God did not make her perfect like other children. I really do not know what to tell my girl!

I am really excited about the opportunity that is given to me now. I really hope it will last as long as possible.

My sister arh…since before she got married she told me that she has a 29″ TV to give me but it is at the repair shop. Hubby was so excited to know that we will get the TV. He planned to put it at his shop and almost buy a tv stand but I stopped him because my sister has no time to collect the TV yet. We can’t collect it because, only my sister’s hubby recognise which TV is theirs! So we have to wait for her super busy hubby to collect it and until today, the TV is still at the repair shop collecting dust.

I enjoy seeing God working in my life. Even though at times I grumble and become angry at Him but I never blame Him for making my life journey a lil tougher. It is because I know that He has a purpose for everything that He is doing in my life. I have seen how He works in my life and He has am not done moulding me yet. If He has, I would be in Heaven with Him right now! Hah!

Even though my life is a lil bit difficult now, I am not panicking yet. I do worry but I know that whatever happen, He is holding my hand and He will not let me fall as long as I don’t let go of His hand. But I think arh, even if I let go, I doubt He will let go of me because He loves me.

You know what? I stopped making New Year Resolution for many years already. Why? Because I never make an effort to fulfill them! Too many things and changes in life than made me put a lot of resolutions on hold.

But this year, I want to try to make one because I have so many challenges ahead of me and I want to be prepared for it. I hope a resolution will keep me focus and organized.
