Undoing Bad Character

Many times I wish my children are like computer whereby I can click “Edit” then “Undo”.

It took us a lot of effort and time instilling good characters in them but when their cousins came back for the holidays, they picks up all the bad character like a sponge.

My eldest started beating her sister in which she never done before because I have taught her since baby time that she is the “big sister” and she is to care and protect her siblings, not beating them. She never lay a finger on her siblings even when her sister bullies her and beats her. She must have witness her nephew/s beating his siblings during the CNY holiday.

My girls shouted at each other now! This I know from which family they learned this from. *sigh*

My son is no longer that cute lil boy that I know before the CNY. He absorbed the most and I wish I can click “Undo” many many times!

As much as I love having them around but the bad characters that they brought along is giving me a tough time with my children.

I have a lot to do because bad characters tend to stick like “Elephant Glue”!

I am not saying that I am a perfect parent and have a perfect children but we prioritize good character over academic excellence. Meaning; it is ok if they don’t excel in their studies even if they have tried their very best but they must have good characters.

Red Roses for His Valentine

I received red roses from hubby (then boyfriend) before but not on Valentine’s Day because the price is unbelievably expensive on Valentine’s Day. I remembered the first time he gave me red roses was the day he came back from Cameron Highland. I received 3 stalks of red roses from him which I dried and kept for almost 10 years. On Valentine’s Day I got the plastic red roses!

Valentine’s Day Approaching

I was planning for a short family holiday soon; maybe a day after Valentine’s day. That will be on Sunday; check in on Sunday, check out on Monday, low season rate. Unfortunately there is a change of plan because hubby’s part-timer will be working at night during that week and the week after that.

I don’t think I want to be away from home in March because I am almost due by then. Looks like my children won’t have any beach holiday until I don’t know when!

So for this Valentine’s Day, maybe I will just cook a Western dinner for us and hope hubby would surprise me with a watch? (hint, hint). One of Breil watches would be nice if he can afford it.
