I was quite upset when I was told by one of the mothers that mothers are no longer allowed to accompany their children in Sunday School.

This means that those 2-3 years old won’t be attending Sunday School because they are still mommy’s boy or girl. I wonder what is their purpose of having a Sunday School.

We want to start them young, letting them getting used to Sunday School but when we are not allowed to be there, our son and daughter won’t stay too.

Even though my girls are 6yo & 5yo, they have not get used to Sunday School in the current church I am attending because we always skip church. So they still wants me to be around until they have settle down for their lesson then I leave. This is not allowed too. They said that we are interrupting with their Sunday School programme. Me, standing at one corner and watching them is called interrupting???

I know who is the one who suggested this. He has only a son and his whole clan is attending the church; from the worship leader to the Sunday School teacher. Of course his son won’t have any problem getting around in church.

Since hubby is comfortable in that church, I will just let him serve there and I am thinking of going to another church with my children that has a more parent-child Sunday School kinda set-up. I was a Sunday School teacher too and I never shoo away the parents. They are much welcome to assist me and encourage their children to participate in any activities that has been laid for them.

I can rant on and on about this but I shall stop here and go find out what is an industrial clamps for!
