On the positive side, we long to have the whole house to ourselves; no maid and no MIL. Don’t get me wrong, it is a blessing to have MIL with us but once in a while it is nice to sit on the Queen’s throne too.
We are going to make full use of these 2 months that we have. I am taking it as a challenge. Let’s see whether I can manage the household without a maid and MIL.
I need to go dig for my house chores timetable which I did 3 years ago when MIL was hospitalized for almost a month. It should be in one of my wholesale handbags. Then, there was no maid, I was working and I have a very clingy 5 months old baby with me. If I can do it then, it should be easier this time because I am a SAHM now and my 3 older children are big girls and big boy now. And I’ll get them to help me do the simple house chores.
It will be fun.

The family maid is going home for a holiday next month; from August 23 to September 24. Thank God she did not gather much possession here to bring back to her home country. If not we will surely need a moving company like moving companies New York to bring her stuff home.
When she returns, we will need Bro.Chuan’s help to pick her up from the airport coz it is on Thursday and hubby is working. If MIL is still in KL and need to stay there for another month, hubby suggested to just leave the maid with Bro. Chuan and MIL can stay with him during that period.
So, I will be maidless for 2 months and praying hard that I won’t go mad.

PTL!
When he came home to tell me that. I said, “Only after you terminated your staff. I wonder how much money she has taken from the shop!” Thank God she only worked for 2 months and hubby found out that she has been dishonest.
Is it so difficult to get an honest employee.
The previous 2 part-timers are very honest employees; we attended the same church.
But they are not free to help hubby because they are very busy with their own full time job.
God, please send one that fears you.
