This year we celebrated Christmas; we had Christmas tree, people that we truly loved, we had gift exchange and lots of food; Italian food, Christmas Turkey, BBQ and Nyonya delicacies!

I think I received 3 Christmas gifts which are to be shared with hubby; a turtle key-chain, a Christian book titled “GOD is my CEO” and a big bar of Cadbury Chocolate that is still untouched. This is much more than what I get previous years which was nothing.

So, what did you get for Christmas? Anyone receive any e cigarette?

After being a SAHM for 1.5 years, I think I had enough. I miss my shaking leg time in the office from 8.30am to 5.30pm. And get paid at the end of the month.

Now, not only I don’t get paid, I work 24/7. Ok ok, maybe not 24 hours, 19 hours only coz I sleep for about 5 hours everyday if I don’t nap in the afternoon.

I planned to start working again (half day) next year. I want to work not because of money but I want to get away from the house and my children for a few hours! Sounds like I am a bad mommy.

It is not a problem for me to find a job coz I still receive emails on job vacancy from a job search company. And my ex-company still can’t find replacement as good as myself. I am not bragging but all the graduates that came for interview are not well verse in written and spoken English!

Unfortunately, I did not get the green like from dear hubby. He wants me to be home for our children coz he can’t be there for them everyday. The only time they have their daddy the whole day is on Sunday. On other days, maybe an hour or two if they wake up early or when I bring them to the shop.

Looks like, I will never go back to the working world.

We had a wedding dinner in Holiday Inn Melaka last Sunday. It was great meeting with relatives; mostly hubby’s side. I love them coz most of them are super friendly. =D One of hubby’s nieces adores my 8mo baby and due to it, we were relieved from him for a lil while during the dinner.

And the best part was we were served with a 8 course vegetarian dinner. Our tummy was not full the brim but it was just right. All of us went home “slim”. If not, none of us can go through the motorhomes door!

Hubby has to work but we managed to get him to come home when his part time came in at 7pm.

His niece; Hilda prepared Bolognese Spaghetti for dinner and I bought a Chocolate Fudge cake from Yee’s Bakery. Unfortunately, hubby did not get to enjoy the cake coz he was coughing due to the cold weather. Looks like I never get it right when I buy birthday cake for him.

My 3yo son was admitted there for 1.5 days and we paid almost RM1k for that. There goes our holiday budget for next year. I must refrained myself from planning any holiday for us next year until I can get enough income to replace that amount. Now I am asking quotation for cheapest family health insurance. It is so expensive to get specialist and special treatment from private hospital. When I registered my son at the hospital, first thing they ask, “Does your son have health insurance?” When meeting the Paediatrician, the same question was asked too! Looks like annual travel insurance have to wait since we don’t go traveling every year.

This year’s birthday present for hubby; a Casio watch. He was hoping for a Spy Watch but this wifey is too practical to buy him a toy! I’m sure it will spoil in no time and then I need to spend extra to buy him another watch.

November and December is a wedding month. Whenever there is a long school break, there will surely be lots of wedding invitations coming our way. Psst…thank God we do not have many friends who are not married. If not, I am sure our bank account will be emptied (coz we do not have much money in there. hehehe). Our wedding invitations come from close relatives only. This year we had 2. We attended the first one 2 weeks ago and another one in 2 weeks time. Not so sure whether I want to go coz it was not easy dining with a fully breastfeed baby!
