Promised Kept

The family maid came back from her 1 month holiday. Everyone thought that she will not return coz her daughter was very sick. I believe God has healed her daughter and she needs to come back here to earn for the cost spent at during her daughter’s hospitalization.

She will be back here with MIL this weekend. As much as I am comfortable with her not being here, the outdoor needs her badly. Verandah and car porch to wash, windows to wipe, leaves to rake and the wet kitchen needs cleaning from the rat poo.

As a reward, maybe I’ll buy e cigarette for her but she can only smoke when she goes back to Indonesia. :P

Still Not Insured

I am not so sure whether I should buy medical insurance for myself. I have lots of insurance quotes with me but still undecided whether to buy or not to buy.

Our of my blogger friends just had an operation to remove a fibroid from her womb. She told me that she is insured and she need not worry about the cost of operation. Her only worry was whether it will be painful or not.

If the same were to happen to me, my body will feel pain and my hubby’s pocket will feel pain too. :P

Almost Got Bang By a Red Kancil

As I was driving home from sending hubby his lunch, I was tailing behind a red Kancil driven by an old man. He drove very slow and he is on the outer lane. So I over took him on the inner lane since it is a 2 lanes road. Right at the moment I over took him, he decided to change lane and almost bang my car! Thank God I was quick enough to swerve away from him and thank God there was no lorry parking at the side of the road like any other day. If not I will have to hire Texas Truck accident lawyer to sue that Kancil driver. :P

More Unclean Food Now

Looks like I got to start checking out http://www.coloncleanser.net. Wondering why? Well, since I resigned from cooking, we have been eating at my mom’s during the weekday and eating out during the weekend. My mom loves to cook sambal prawns, sambal squids, sweet sour crabs, sambal belacan and cencaluk. These seafood dishes are unclean food! It taste nice but it does bad things to our health. Hmm…looks like we need to do colon cleansing whenever possible.

Watermelon Irritates My Throat

For the first time in my life, I have watermelon growing right beside and behind my house. It is so hard to resist the red and juicy fresh plucked watermelon. I managed to enjoy eating and drinking pure watermelon juice for about a week before I came down with a cough. When I am coughing, just a small bite of the juicy water melon sends me coughing non stop! It irritates my throat badly. Do you think colonix can help?

Wishful Thinking

I wish he would tell me this, “Dear, tomorrow you can sleep in. I will get the children ready for school and send them to school.” Of course on the day that he does not have to work full day so that he can come home after that to continue his sleep.

But like my title says, it is wishful thinking. It will never happen unless I am really, really sick. It is because he requires 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep if possible. Unlike me, I can sleep for 1 hour then wake up for 2 hours then continue sleeping for another 3 hours before getting up to start my day. And if my baby wants to latch, I might doze off for another hour. On some days I can catch an hour nap with baby. So I do get my 4-6 hours sleep every day.

I would love to have 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep but being a wife and a mother, this is one of the sacrifices that we have to make.

Flu Bug is Bugging Us

My soon to be 1yo (in 2 days time!) is down with flu. And with my low immune system, I caught the bug from him. Eh! I didn’t catch the bug lar. The bug hopped over to me. :P Now both of us are producing lots of gooey and I am coughing too. At times, both my nose will be blocked and when I drink water, it feels like I will be choke to death; cannot breath eh. I wonder if I inhale a stick of Black and Mild, it will clear my nose passage or not? :P Ok! Ok! Me no smoker.

Resigned from Being A Cook; Almost.

Starting this month, I have resigned from cooking lunch and dinner for my family; more for hubby actually. Reason being, my almost 1yo baby wakes up earlier now which prevented me from cooking. When he wakes up, he wants his nen-nen and 90% of the time, I will doze off again for about an hour. By the time, I woke up, hubby needs to leave for work already. When hubby is not around, no one is there to help me look after baby while I cook and I can’t cook with a baby hanging around me at the wet kitchen; let’s say that the wet kitchen is not safe for baby. ;)

Since my children and I have our dinner at my mom’s almost everyday and she always have left-over food, I suggested that she cook for all of us for lunch and dinner too. She can save money coz I will be giving her extra allowance for the food and there will not be wastage anymore. As for me, I have more time to clean my house, more time for my baby and more online time. I can even do healthcare job search if you want me too. ;) As for hubby, he is enjoying good food and more varieties everyday.

I said “Almost” because, I still need to cook for my children’s breakfast.
