Any idea when is Halloween? Since we do not celebrate it, I never know the date until some mommy blogger wrote it in their blog about their halloween celebration and show off their cute infant halloween costumes. If my children wants Halloween costume, I will just sew for them. Let them dress us as Mr Platypus or Mr Penguin coz I doubt they wouldn’t want to wear anything scary.

Hubby hardly fall sick but when he does, he really stay sick for a few days! He caught the bug from us. We are all recovering now. It is more difficult for hubby to recover when the weather is cold. It has been raining for a few days. When he is down, his body needs heat. He needs hot weather, he needs to eat a lot to heat up his body and he needs to drink hot and heaty drinks like ginger tea.

Having your own business does not allow you to take medical leave unless you have someone to replace you. Unfortunately his part-time staff is not able to work this whole week. So, hubby still have to go to work when he is sick. How I wish I can take over for him but I have my 4 children to mind.

Please pray with me that God will heal him ASAP.

This year, if God willing we will leave our hometown 3 times to go a weekend vacation. This will be a record breaker. Since I am married to my husband, we never get to leave our hometown more that twice a year due to his busyness with church and work.

Our family weekend vacation to Genting Highland is confirmed. We will be up there end of this month. This weekend vacation is sponsored by my dear advertisers. I have been saving up my USD for this trip for quite a while.

I was just telling hubby that after his mission trip to Sabah this September, we should make a weekend trip to Cameron Highland to visit a missionary family there. We have been telling them that we will visit since they left Kupang and started serving in Cameron Highland. This year is the best time coz come next year, we will be homebound.

So I suggested we go in October so that I can have time to accumulate my online income for this trip. At first I thought this weekend vacation will be cheaper than Genting coz we do not have to pay for accommodation coz we will be staying in their house but hubby said otherwise. We need to spend double that our Genting trip. Oh! The other half is to give them as love offering. A VERY expensive accommodation! I don’t think I will have enough for the other half and that I have to leave to hubby.

Last night, hubby suggested that we sign up for church camp which will be held this August. We will have the church camp at Port Dickson. Yippie! Another family weekend vacation for us.

Halleluyah! We have finally paid up our last 1k beginning of this month. It was not easy you know. 1k may seems little to some of you but it took us 3 months to have that extra 1k in our business account. I am so glad that part of my hard earned online income is also being used to pay up the business loan. I jokingly tell hubby that half of the business is mine!

Do you know that not all wives are willing to share their income with their husband? I know a few. One of them is my ex-colleague. Her salary is hers and her hubby didn’t even know how much she has in her savings account! This is really not healthy in a marriage. I don’t understand how can a wife live her everyday life with the husband thinking that he might leave me one day for another woman. So, she must save some for her “in case” future. Where is the trust? Where is the transparency? Will the marriage survive with this kind of attitude?

After running an internet cafe for almost 4 years now, we have changed our office furniture a few times especially the cheaper chairs. I always believe that we must pay for quality but sometimes, our budget does not allow it. At that point in time, we were really in need to replace the office chair but we did not have much cash. So we settled for a cheap office chair. In less than half a year, the chair broke. Hmph! We really must set aside a small budget to replace our office furniture; must buy good quality ones this time.

Yesterday, I treated everyone at home KFC coz I got RM50 from my brother for helping to send and fetch his girls to and from kindy. Ya, ya, ya, I should use that money to pump petrol eh. Nevermind, petrol is in my budget already. This RM50 is extra so, must bless others with it.

Hubby was at work as usual and I still buy 2 pieces for him coz he loves KFC. Unfortunately he came home way too late to enjoy the KFC and now, I am eating it for breakfast. Got to look for best weight loss pills after this coz fried chicken is fattening!

I heard testimonies about prenatal vitamins can make you and your baby fat. Come to think of it, it is true you know. When I was pregnant with my first child, I took prenatal vitamins until I am due to deliver. Due to it, my weight increased 17kg! With my 2nd child, I took until 20 weeks. Weight increased more than 10kg but it was hard to shed that extra weight. I was lingering at 52kg only after 6 months delivery. Come to No.3 & No.4, I did not take any prenatal pills. My pregnancy weight increased less than 10kg and after a month, I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Both baby are strong and healthy. So, you don’t really have to take the prenatal vitamins if you watch your diet during pregnancy. But I do take my normal supplements though.

Aiya! The insurance agent just called again. Told her to come during school holiday but she never did. She wanted to come today but I told her that I am very busy. True what….busy crapping away now. Since she called so many times, I have to give face and let her come see me on Sunday at 3pm. Hmmm…I hope something come up on that particular hour and I can escape her again. If not, I just have to nod, nod and nod when she explains and convince me to check out her life insurance rates. I think I should just tell her that I have no money to buy more insurance. Full stop. End of bugging me to buy insurance from her.

For the past 2 weeks hubby was able to cycle to work, thanks to one of hubby’s part-time staffs who has been working for almost every night. Due to cycling, he has a flatter tummy now. As he was looking at the sensa weight loss product online, he was very happy that he does not need to swallow any of them yet. His next mission is to jog to work because he wants a more complete body workout.

My hubby is one who does not really bother whether you are pretty or have lots of acne on your face but no all men are like him. To him and also most of us, if one is pretty but have bad characters and attitude, their pretty looks does not matter anymore.

When I was still studying in uni, one of my roommates has a very vain boyfriend. He will read all kind of reviews pertaining beauty. I am sure he read exposed acne treatment reviews. He even plucks his own eyebrows! How many men that you know do that? His girlfriend finds it hard keeping up to his standard and before they graduated they broke off and this roommate of mine went out with a not so good looking guy. I think she is phobia dating good looking guys.

My hormone is changing again and now it is for the worst. I have so many breakouts but I couldn’t be bothered to get any adult acne treatments. Reason being, I am no longer young, I am a mother of 4 and hubby never has any problem with the acne on my face. You know, he fell in love with me months before I get the worst breakouts in my life and he did not leave me. To him, inner beauty is more important than outward. *ahem*
