ROM 9th Annivesary

Yesterday was our ROM (registration of marriage) 9th anniversary and we totally forgotten about it. Hubby remembers though; a day after that. He told me this morning. If he does not, it won’t come across my mind at all.

I guess it is not a significant date for me to remember. Even though we were legally married since that day, we did not lead a married life until we are married before the Lord on May 12 in the same year.

Looking forward to the month of April and May. April; my No. 4 baby will be 1yo! :)

Just When I Am About To Get Excited

I was very excited that we are finally going for a date again. Just hubby and I. We made a reservation to watch Avatar 3D tomorrow afternoon and our children will be in the safe arms of my parents.

Just when I am about to get excited, my right tummy pain became more intense and I was so tempted to pop in painkillers if I can find any. While bathing with the children, the pain was so intense that I raised my voice at them when they dilly dally. I felt very bad after that.

I called hubby hoping that he can come home to prepare dinner for our children and take care of them for a little while while I lie down to let the tummy muscle relax and get some rest. Unfortunately, his helper did not come in yet and he is not sure whether she will come in or not.

I can’t get help from my parents coz they are attending a wedding dinner.

What to do? Cry lor and ask God for help. Thank God the crying and praying helps to release the tense and the pain subsided a little bit and I quickly prepare dinner for my children before they starve.

Just when they are enjoying their burgers, hubby came home. :D His helper came in. Yay! PTL!!!

Hubby is Home

I am so happy that hubby is home today until this evening because his part-time has started to work for him again. That is why you see blog diarrhea here. I hope his part-timer will work for him more often this month. I am planning to bake some CNy cookies when time permits.

The timing is just right. At the moment when I almost fall apart, he has a new part-timer and the old ones started working for him since yesterday. God knows that I need a helper badly. :D

Look Young

Since I gave birth to my 4th child, I lose a lot of weight. People thought that I took phentermine. Well, breastfeeding and singlehandedly taking care of 4 young children burns lots of calories! I am having my youth weight and new people I met complemented that I look very young and was so surprise when I told them that I have 4 children and the youngest is an 8 months old baby. Hubby was telling me that it is how God compensates those that bore many children. How true is that?

Stress Buster

How to release stress? There are lots of way of releasing stress. Some go to Outer Banks vacation rentals, some go for bungee jumping, some just go for a stress therapy massage, some eat and eat and eat…just do something that will take off your mind of the cause of the stress.

I just realized that I have a stress buster with me 24/7. Here is my stress buster…

bb

My ever smiling cutie pie. :D

When I need someone to make me smile; his smiles melts my heart and can never make me not smile along with him.
When I need someone to hug; he is so huggable.
When I need someone to cuddle; he is so squishy.
When I need someone to enjoy a makan with; he loves food.
When I need someone to scream, he will scream along with me.

etc…

Life would be sooooo stressful is God did not bless me with this cutie pie. :D

What Did You Get For Christmas

This year we celebrated Christmas; we had Christmas tree, people that we truly loved, we had gift exchange and lots of food; Italian food, Christmas Turkey, BBQ and Nyonya delicacies!

I think I received 3 Christmas gifts which are to be shared with hubby; a turtle key-chain, a Christian book titled “GOD is my CEO” and a big bar of Cadbury Chocolate that is still untouched. This is much more than what I get previous years which was nothing.

So, what did you get for Christmas? Anyone receive any e cigarette?

Wedding Dinner in Holiday Inn Melaka

dinner

We had a wedding dinner in Holiday Inn Melaka last Sunday. It was great meeting with relatives; mostly hubby’s side. I love them coz most of them are super friendly. =D One of hubby’s nieces adores my 8mo baby and due to it, we were relieved from him for a lil while during the dinner. :P

And the best part was we were served with a 8 course vegetarian dinner. Our tummy was not full the brim but it was just right. All of us went home “slim”. If not, none of us can go through the motorhomes door!

On Hubby’s 37th Birthday

us

The 6 of Us.

Hubby has to work but we managed to get him to come home when his part time came in at 7pm. :D

His niece; Hilda prepared Bolognese Spaghetti for dinner and I bought a Chocolate Fudge cake from Yee’s Bakery. Unfortunately, hubby did not get to enjoy the cake coz he was coughing due to the cold weather. Looks like I never get it right when I buy birthday cake for him. :(

I rested on Monday too

Praise God that the in-laws who is having the maid is staying another day; that is today. Normally they will go back on Sunday itself after staying a night here.

Due to it, I am able to rest today coz the maid is doing all my job and do as much cleaning as possible before she leaves to stay with them for another month.

They will only be back here on the 19th of December for another wedding dinner. But whether MIL and the maid will be back here for good by then or not, I am not putting much hope.

SIL told me that they are not getting a new maid. So, I figured they might keep MIL and the maid with them as long as they could. ;)

6 More PCs with LCDs Screen

Praise God for His blessings. Hubby is expanding his business by adding 6 more computers to make it 30 computers in his CC. That’s the max we can put in the shoplot. These 6 computers are imported used computers with 17″ LCD screen and it comes with Window licensed too. Hubby managed to bargained to lowered the price to RM730 only but these computers does not come with graphic card which cost RM130 a unit. Well, it is still cheaper to buy a brand new computers. :D I wonder whether the seller sells LCD tvs or not? It will be wonderful if we can have one 50″ LCD TV at home. hehehe.

Helpful Husband

For the past few days, hubby has helped wash the dishes instead of just leaving them in the sink. He even help to wash whatever I left in the sink after cooking. This I normally do if baby wakes up before I finished washing. I’ll wash them when baby takes his nap after his morning bath.

He even helped to clean our son’s vomit which I left to send my eldest girl to art class yesterday. I am so “allergic” to vomit. I will usually end up vomiting if I have to clean them myself!

I am really thankful that hubby helped me with the chores whenever he is around. I really need it.

Incoming Links

I just realised that I have lots of incoming links. I don’t remember submitting this blog to a web directory list. I hope this spells “money” or “page rank”. ;) Taking about money, I still have not receive any reply from the advertiser. Looks like no income coming in for me. And…hubby decided not to buy any car until our children outgrew our cars! He wants to save some money to expand his business; buy more computers coz the demand is increasing. Which is good coz it also spells more income. :) Let’s just wait and see coz he changes his mind very often when it comes to buying a car.

His Blessings Flow

I often blog about how financially tight we are. Today, I want to praise God for His financial blessings.

Hubby’s business is picking up out of our expectation. We see sales that we can never imagine that it can come to that amount. Due to it, we are able to settle a big amount in our business loan. We hope to pay up the outstanding loan by end of this year.

For the pass 2 days, the price of gold increased tremendously. We took this opportunity to sell some of my gold investment (which I bought during the good old paid-post days) to pay our business loan too. Now, I am gold-less. Nevermind, God will bless us with more gold! If not here, surely in Heaven I will walk on roads that are made of gold.

An advertiser just offered me a good sum of money to place a text-link on my sidebar and I took this opportunity to offer my service to them; helping them to look for more blogs at a minimal fee. An email came back saying that they agreed but I am still waiting for a confirmation after I wrote my proposal to them. Keeping my finger crossed and praying really hard that they will want my assistance. :)

We are praying that God will bless us enough so that we can afford to buy a better car; a MPV if possible. My old junk is still not running and I am using my sister’s car while she is still in confinement. In a week time, we are left with one car. Even though hubby seldom drive to work but when it rains and he needs to bring computers for repairs, he needs a car.

You know what, we are really thankful for His blessings but we are physically tired at the same time. We are still praying for an honest Christian staff for the shop; hubby has been working from morning till the next morning every single day except on Sundays. I am tired managing the household and my 4 lovely children all by myself every single day except on Sundays.

Above all this, I still believe that In His Time He Will Make All Things Beautiful.

Blessing in Disguise

There is a reason why God wants use to give thanks in everything; good or bad.

Let’s take a look at my case.

Case 1:
I have gone through a lot lately; mostly physical pain. Due to it, when I am a stronger woman; physically and emotionally. 2 days ago, I cut 2 of my fingers and I did not cry at all like I always do. Yes! Even though, I am a BIG GIRL, I will always cry when I cut my fingers. :P But not when I fall down and hurt my knees; only when I cut my own fingers. Don’t ask my why, I don’t know!

Case 2:
Having the 4th child and managing the household without a helper recently has taken a lot of the excess weight from my body. I am way past my pre-pregnancy weight. I am almost reaching the pre-marriage weight!

So, if “bad” things are happening to you, don’t be so worried ya. There is always blessing in disguise.

If your dad bought for you refurbished laptops, don’t show sour face; thank him. You wouldn’t know that your dad is saving his money for something better for you; like a car!

Praise God for No Maid

We should give thanks in EVERYTHING right?

All this while you hear me whine of not having any helper around. Today, I am happy to announce that I am glad that the maid has left the premise.

No maid, No stress.

Not that she is not good. She is a good maid; sometimes too good to my children that they are spoilt by her. Due to it, they always throw tantrum at her and mess up the house coz they know that there is the maid to clean up their mess. All these stresses me up because I have to keep telling them to behave and not mess up the house. When she is not around, my children hardly mess up the house and if they do, they have to clean them up. I told them that when Kakak is not around, they have to help Mommy.

And also, when you have a maid, there is a certain kind of expectation on her and if she does not perform, I get upset.

The only downside of not having any helper around is, I am working around the clock. The maid’s job is easy; just cleaning, washing and cooking. A mommy’s has to do EVERYTHING; clean, wash, cook, go shopping, run errands, drive, and mind the children.

Everyday from 7am to 9.30pm I work non-stop. From 9.30pm to 6.30am, I sleep and wakes up almost 2 hourly to breastfeed. Sometimes I take my evening shower as late as midnight! or none at all.

Whoever say that housewives got plenty of free time, I am gonna kick their butt! :P

Healing

Praise God that the maid is back. She has been here for 2 weeks and as of today, Praise God that I don’t feel the pain in my right tummy. How I wish she was around after I came back to this house after 2 weeks of staying with my mom. But what to do; then we don’t have the means and the time to bring her back here from BIL’s house. I miss the days that I do not have to worry about money. There is time for everything. I always believe that In His Time He Will Make All Things Beautiful.

Blessed to Have a Helper

I am so blessed that I have a helper now. The family maid is back and she is helping a lot with cleaning the house, cooking, washing and attend to my bigger kids when my baby is latching. For the pass few days I can actually nap when I breastfeed my baby. Before the maid comes back, no matter how sleepy I was, I can never doze off when baby is latching. There were so many chores in my mind that need to be done when baby is asleep. Now, that burden has been taken off my shoulder. PTL! I wonder whether I need to look for weight loss pills that work soon because I can feel that my body is expanding due to more sleep and less work! :P
