caspian

We went to watch Prince Caspian at MBO Melaka. First time watching movie in that cinema. :)

Since I read the book, I kind of have certain expectation on the movie. Praise God that there was a balance in the movie. Certain scenes are not to my expectation and certain scenes are beyond my expectation.

Overall I love the movie.

Heaven is So Real

I can’t imagine that the title brings the most comments in my kid’s blog. To date the Heaven is So Real post written on March 29th, 2005, that’s 3 years ago has 217 comments and still receiving comments from time to time.

I did not write a review of the book, Heaven is So Real which was written by Choo Thomas but readers use my blog as a platform for them to discuss about Heaven is So Real. I guess I am the first blogger to write about it and my comment box is opened to everyone except those who uses not so nice words, their comments will be deleted by yours truly. ;)

And also then, that blog of mine has a PR4. That post was ranked 3rd after Choo Thomas’ website and Amazon. Then after the Google Smack, my PR went to zero until now, the post was gone from the first top 20! Since then I don’t see any new comment coming in until today. That was more than 3 months ago.

To my surprise, today, that post rank No. 6 in Google Search. Is this an indication that I will soon get my PR back??? Please let it be Lord.

penelope

I got prezzie from hubby. Ermmm…not really. This is what he got after he wrote a review about Penelope on our anniversary day; February 12. The day, we became a couple. :D

My face was covered with pimples then and he still “want” me, not because of my outward appearance but who I am inside. He was the one who always encourages me to look inwardly because I always feel sad and inferior due to my acne problem.

One of my blogger friends is migrating to US to be with her beloved husband. She used to run a Montessori and now she is selling ALL her books and Montessori’s stuff. Thank God she has a lot of mommy bloggers who are readers and she managed to sell 70% of all her books and educational material in 2 days time.

If not she is thinking of starting an online shop and getting the shopping cart software from Ashop Commerce. For first timer you don’t have to crack your head designing your own online store. One of the worst thing that every human can feel is guilt. It is a form of mechanism that God has put into our spirit to tell us that we have done something wrong against God. Is this too difficult to understand? Let me put it in a simpler sentence. It is the not nice feeling that you will feel when you know that you have done something wrong and God wants to remind you to repent from that wrongdoing. Then the choice would be yours. You can ignore, put aside, cover it and pretend that it is not there but the guilt will always be there. Alternatively you can repent, ask for forgiveness and get rid of your guilt. The first option is easier to our human nature but the result is not so liberating. The second option is very hard to do but it gives total freedom. Unfortunately, many of us choose the first option.

Frances D.Munson has wrote a A book about God’s love titled “Fallen, but Not Forgotten”. It is a story that will definitely cause you to think about your own life. Like what I mentioned earlier, most of us feel that we are doing okay, not a bad person, did not do any major wrong/sin. In fact we covered many of our guilt feelings with layers upon layers of reasons that we cannot even feel those guilt feelings anymore. Frances’ story is truly amazing, a story of forgiveness and hope. It shows of God’s love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness that is available to all who ask and willing to accept. It is not cheap to receive forgiveness from God. In fact God requires a sacrifice for your sin. The good thing is that Jesus has paid it for you by being the sacrifice when he died on the Cross. This is truly God’s love and mercy at work. Would you please be like Frances, humble enough to accept God’s love, mercy and forgiveness.

Emotional Purity

I read a book about called Emotional Purity sometime ago. Our emotion guides us physically and mentally. If we are emotionally pure, our thoughts and action will be pure too.

In Matthew 5:28, Jesus said “…I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

The man has not even touch the woman but he lust for her in his heart and he has committed adultery already! Let just say he did not guard his heart (emotion) and take another step by approaching the woman. I am sure they will be in bed given the opportunity. Our hearts / emotions always guide the way we behave and talk.
