If not because of the ex, I would have a MBA degree. He never encourage me in pursuing higher education. Why? He was just a Form 5 school leaver and with me being a degree holder already made him feel inferior and insecure. Anyway, that’s my past. Yesterday, we skipped church because the family is here for the weekend attending a wedding. Since the house is full and I have more than enough helpers, hubby went to his CC to clean up and arrange the back room after the renovation. By adding 6 more computers, we have to expand the front portion of the shop’s space and reduced the back room space.

There are so much to be done and he is doing it all alone. Next, he needs to drill hole on the floor to fix the internet cable for the 6 computers. This is a tough job if we do not have the proper tools. We are still asking around for those who have those cement drills, spring plungers and other tools to ease the job.

That can only be done during Sundays when the CC is closed. No idea when can we start operating with 30 computers in the shop.

Thanks to my dad, I am able to do settle on job for hubby. Since I am not well enough to drive, my dad has been coming to fetch me to his place in the afternoon for the past 2 days. PTL that today I am much better; no more vomiting but still dizzy when I walk too much. By afternoon, I am feeling a lil bit alive and got my dad to drive me to a furniture shop to buy computer tables and office chairs for hubby before bringing me to his place. The furniture shop has cardboard displays where they place their pamplets and handouts. PTL that their price is much cheaper than the one we usually shop from. I have not seen the tables and chairs yet. I hope the quality is the same as the other shop.

Praise God for His blessings. Hubby is expanding his business by adding 6 more computers to make it 30 computers in his CC. That’s the max we can put in the shoplot. These 6 computers are imported used computers with 17″ LCD screen and it comes with Window licensed too. Hubby managed to bargained to lowered the price to RM730 only but these computers does not come with graphic card which cost RM130 a unit. Well, it is still cheaper to buy a brand new computers. I wonder whether the seller sells LCD tvs or not? It will be wonderful if we can have one 50″ LCD TV at home. hehehe.

I just realised that I have lots of incoming links. I don’t remember submitting this blog to a web directory list. I hope this spells “money” or “page rank”. Taking about money, I still have not receive any reply from the advertiser. Looks like no income coming in for me. And…hubby decided not to buy any car until our children outgrew our cars! He wants to save some money to expand his business; buy more computers coz the demand is increasing. Which is good coz it also spells more income. Let’s just wait and see coz he changes his mind very often when it comes to buying a car.

When he came home to tell me that. I said, “Only after you terminated your staff. I wonder how much money she has taken from the shop!” Thank God she only worked for 2 months and hubby found out that she has been dishonest.

Is it so difficult to get an honest employee.

The previous 2 part-timers are very honest employees; we attended the same church. But they are not free to help hubby because they are very busy with their own full time job.

God, please send one that fears you.

I have been going to hubby’s shop every evening this week with baby. Each time we stepped into the shop, baby will surely wants to latch to sleep. This arrangement is not good for me coz I need assist the customers while hubby takes his bath. A few times when baby is latching there will be customers coming in to photostat. I have no choice but to unlatch baby when the customer is not looking. It is very embarrassing; what is the customer saw my tits!

A blogger friend of mine left comment saying that soft music helps her baby to sleep soundly. Maybe I should try on my baby too. But I need to buy one of those mine ipods and place near him in his baby seat each time I go to hubby’s shop.

If hubby still practices law, I won’t be whining about money now. However, if hubby still practices law, he won’t be my husband now! If you read my love story before then you would know the reason.

Hubby said he does not like to practice law due the stress. I guess every job has their own stress and it depends on us on how to handle it; whether you are Mesothelioma lawyers, accountants, doctors, teachers, engineers or just a clerk.

With hubby running his own business, I think there is a certain level of stress in it when income is not sufficient, staff cheating, no staff and most of all his health is affected due to long working hours.

I should be writing this post in my Blogspot blog but according to my stats, less people reads this blog compared to that blog. So I shall rant here.

I was driving to hubby’s shop to send him his dinner yesterday evening. Even before I started driving, I made a plan to hop over to Giant with baby after hubby has done taking his dinner and bathing. I wanted to buy chicken thigh so that I can bake chicken again since my children loves it so much and I wanted to give some to my mom’s coz on that day, I told her I will give her some but ended up none at all coz after we dig in, all left was the breast part and my mom does not like that part.

As I was sitting at the counter, waiting for hubby to finish bathing I decided not to go and spend. This is because I am not getting enough income from online to pay my bills at the end of the month. This sucks!

Even though I know I can’t go to work now, I kept hoping that I can. Everyday when I drive my girls to kindy, I passes a few factories and I kept wondering whether there is any vacancy for me there. I miss earning for myself and for my family.

If you are wondering where is my husband; he is still around but I cannot depend on him. He wants to do what he likes even if it means not earning enough to support the family. I know he is praying and trying very hard to earn more but after 3 years, business is not doing any better. If I were him, I will go back to his previous, previous profession even though I dreaded it but I know I can get fix income every month for my family. To me, it is family first and my wants come later. But he is not me and I will not force him to do what he does not like.

Maybe this is one of the reasons as to why I want my baby to grow up faster. So that I can send him to a babysitter and go back to work. *sigh*

I better go back to sleep now. It is 5am already and I need to wake up at 7.30am to breastfeed and get my girls ready for kindy.

I have started sending dinner to hubby at his shop since he has to work full day after he terminated his one and only staff.

I drove there will ALL my children and they cause a havoc at the shop! The bigger ones will play catching in the shop, then they will rummage their daddy dinner to look for food that they can eat, then each of them will take a drink that is for sale there, then one of them wants to PU lar then PM lar and my baby will want to latch to sleep.

Today, I am going to send all of them to my mom’s except my baby.

Hubby fired his one and only employee because she has been dishonest many times. From the very beginning I already expected that she won’t be working long with us. Either she would leave for other job or we terminate her. Kinda disappointed that it is the latter.

I wonder how much of the business money has gone into her pocket. The first month when she started working with us, the sales dropped. I got a feeling that she “transferred” some of the sales into her pocket. She is not only dishonest but lazy too.

I kept telling hubby to switch on the CCTV again but he refused. Till today I still don’t understand the reason he didn’t want to do that.

Now we are back to square one until we get a replacement. Hubby will be working from 10am to 12mn Monday to Saturday!

Hubby got the opportunity to buy over an internet cafe but he let it go because we are not eligible to obtain the personal loan from the bank. Thank God that we did not buy the internet cafe because business in our own internet cafe is slowing down. Even the salesman that sells wholesale computers told hubby that his sales has dropped a lot since last month. For the time being, we have to be contented with just one internet cafe to run and pray that God will bless the business that we will have sufficient income every month.

I am wondering when will be the day when I no longer hear those words come out from hubby’s mouth by month end and hubby is still alive and running his business.

Above all this we have a good God for He is Jehovah Jireh. Never a month we need to borrow to put food in our mouth and to pay bills.

Tell me, who does not want a better life?

Hubby is thinking about buying another cybercafe. The price offered is quite cheap. The problem is that even with the cheap offer, he does not have enough savings to buy it. That cause him to think twice about the offer. Furthermore, with the economic crisis that is happening now, the risk would be higher. We would not want to have a lot of bad debts hanging over our heads. Yes, there is debt consolidation services available but being in debt is something that we are trying to avoid in the first place.

One of the lady customers threw her sanitary pad inside the toilet bowl. Very inconsiderate of her. If I know who she is, she will surely get a piece of my mind.

So the toilet got stuck. Water can’t flow out. After leaving it for 2 days, on the 3rd day, hubby tried poking the hole with a long wire after a short prayer that God will HELP!!!

After pushing and poking for a while, nothing happened. Seconds after hubby pulled out the wire and gave up, all the water flew right out.

Praise the Lord! The pad finally went out!

Now, we need to find ways to prevent this from happening again.

Yup! We got ourselves a fulltime staff; a Malay girl with a Diploma in Graphic Design and has experienced working in an internet cafe during her schooling days. We know for sure that she won’t be long with us. She has a Diploma for goodness sake! As long as she will be around when I give birth and during my confinement month, that would be good enough.

Last week we had a candidate to work for our internet cafe and hubby offered him the job. He is supposed to start work today. Unfortunately, he did not turn up and is already in another state looking for other jobs. Looks like he is not meant for us then.

Today, a lady and also our customer asking whether she can fill in the vacancy. We are not too keen because lady won’t want to work until midnight and it is not safe for her too. If we have no other guy applicant, we might just employ her for the morning shift and still keep our part-time for the night shift which will only be for one week a month. 3 other weeks, hubby will have to work the night shift.

However, this is not what we desire because hubby wants to be home by evening time so that he can spend more time for the family, especially his children who are growing up very fast.

I have more or less 3 more weeks to go before No.4 comes into our life. We really hope and pray that God will bless us with a guy full time staff before I give birth.

Most of hubby’s customer, those who have not seen me before thought that hubby is a Malay. Whenever hubby works the evening shift, I will come in to release him for a lil while for him to freshen up.

A few times when they come to the counter to borrow the compact flash memory card, they will asked whether I am a Chinese and whether hubby is a Chinese too.

Some assumes that I am hubby’s part-time worker’s wife.

If hubby’s part-time worker wife comes to the shop, I am sure they will think that she is hubby’s wife because he married an Indonesian lady!

Where will you be in the next 5 years? To some, the answer is easy and straight-forward. However, to me, the answer is not that straight-forward. I am not sure where I will be in the next five years down the road. “Aren’t you going to stay where you are and build up your family?” you may ask me. I will answer, “Most probably no”.

You see, when I first get to know my hubby, we know that we might be called to go somewhere else to serve God. As such, hubby quit his job as a lawyer and served in the church for seven years. After the seven years, he decided that it is best for him to move out from the church and do business before the next stage of our lives. We give ourselves four years for the business and now it is already in the third year. We are preparing ourselves and our family to be ready to go wherever God wants us to go. I must say, we are not doing pretty well in preparing ourselves for the ministry.

Business really takes a lot of hubby’s time and he is finding it difficult to be involved in the church that we are attending. Furthermore, with the fourth baby coming soon, things would definitely change. I know that when God calls us to move, we might have to hire a Moving Company to bring all our stuffs to the new place. When, I am not really sure. Will God calls us to move? That is His prerogative. When the Master instructs, the servants obey.

Where will I be in the next 5 years? Only God knows but for now, I am staying put.

Hubby told me that KFC in Giant is going to close shop middle of this year. Pizza Hut will follow suit by end of this year. The rental at Giant is absurd; RM30k a month for KFC! I think if Giant can attract a lot of people to shop at their shopping complex, KFC won’t close shop. Instead you will only see the crowds at Giant during Mega Sales. KFC is a good franchise opportunity but location is very important too.
