Looks like I will be ending my confinement earlier by 4 days because on May 12 is our wedding anniversary. I don’t want to miss celebrating it again. But then, we can only go for dinner and no movie because my newborn will be tagging along. What to do, am fully breastfeeding him. For dinner I am going to indulge myself with beef steak and ice-cream which I am supposed to have on my birthday and before baby pops. I wonder whether I need a colon cleanse after it!

I can’t remember what happened!!!
All I can remember that after he sign off his love letter to me he will write this date: 920212
Was it the day we fell in love? Or the day we officially declared our love for each other?
Whatever it is, on that day a beautiful and complicated relationship began.
It started with really short distance relationship. We live just 2km away from each other and we worked in the same restaurant. However it only lasted for a few months then it turned into a long distance relationship; he in KL and me in Malacca.
KL is not THAT far but coming from a poor family, KL is VERY FAR. That is when the problem begins because my language of love is Quality Time. I need him besides me as often as possible but he can’t fill my love tank due to financial constraint.
Anyway, that is not what I want to share today. I told my love story many times in my blogs. What I wanted to share is about God, being the center in our relationship.
I fell in love with him because of his Christ-like character. I wanted to know what made him so different than any other guys that I knew. The more I know that it was God who made him who he is, the more I want to know about his God (i was a non-believer then you see). That’s how our friendship begins. Me, searching for the Man behind his wonderful character. Him falling in love with me because I am a tomboy!!!
Most of our dating topic revolves around God and His Word. We often prayed together and commit our relationship to God and asking Him to bless it. Innocently we prayed that He will keep us together no matter what happened in our life because we know that we are still very young then and there are much challenges in life that we will face.
True enough, we went our separate ways 2 years later but 8 years later, God brought us back miraculously! It was a miracle to me because he registered for marriage and I almost got married too! And we broke off because both our almost life partner to be was not compatible spiritually and was pulling us away from God.
Now, almost everyday, I will thank God for giving me back my David.

We end our most stressful month (for me at least) by watching The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. This time we went to GSC at Mahkota Parade after our bad experience at GSC, Dataran Pahlawan. And this time we save some moolah by not buying any titbits; no drinks, no popcorn, just the movie ticket at RM9 each.
How’s the movie? I watched The Mummy and The Mummy Return and I don’t quite like Brendan Fraser coz I hate the stupid George of the Jungle movie but this one I like coz it has Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li. That is the only reason I wanna watch the movie; Asian actor. hehe

So you don’t need diet pills if you are fat. How true is that?
I seen a few on my friends marrying a very fat husband and she is very skinny. They have a happy marriage. But then…
If you are a guy and you are fat, getting a wife is not a big problem if you have a good personality. Most ladies look pass physical appearance but sad to say that most men are not like that. They go for the physical appearance first then personality and character.
That is why diet pills are mostly bought by ladies and not men. Sad isn’t it?

We went to watch Prince Caspian at MBO Melaka. First time watching movie in that cinema.
Since I read the book, I kind of have certain expectation on the movie. Praise God that there was a balance in the movie. Certain scenes are not to my expectation and certain scenes are beyond my expectation.
Overall I love the movie.

Do you know who is the dating expert in my family? My dad of course. Living in a kampung, he knows almost every family in the kampung. Thank God his daughter pick someone from the same kampung if not he won’t be the dating expert after all. So when he heard that I am going out with someone’s son, he will give his comment like “He comes from a good family, His parents is very strict too, His siblings are all good in their education etc” That means it is alright to go out with that guy. If he says, “His family doesn’t like to mix around with others, His mother is very bossy, His dad is very abusive etc.” That means NO.

That’s what we had on our dating night on Thursday. Dunno why hubby suddenly crave for Satay Celup.
We had those at Jalan Ong Kim Wee. They have 3 shops that sells Satay Celup now. Always go for the 1st shop; that’s the original shop. The other 2 shops are for spill over. Not from the same owner. I never try the other 2 shops but I heard they are not as good as the first. The 3rd shop look very nice, like those modern cafe but no customer there! So, don’t be deceive by the appearance.
We didn’t talk much during the makan…all hands, eyes, mouth and thoughts are so focus on the Satay Celup. We also did not discuss whether we should consider buying burial insurance. Btw, in Malaysia got such insurance meh?
So I ended up eating more than what I usually ate. I ate 20 sticks of the Satay Celup! My usual is 15 sticks only. Once we arrived home, I made a cup of slimming Chinese Tea.
