Ever since I got pregnant with my first child, I removed my wedding ring from my finger because my fingers grew fatter! Better remove it before it got stuck there forever! After I gave birth to my baby, my fingers refused to return to it’s pre-pregnancy size. So, my wedding ring stays in its box until after I gave birth to my 3rd baby. By then I could wear it but it is not convenient when I have to handle my baby most of the time unless i don’t mind seeing scratching all over their body. Until today, I do not have a single jewelry on my body; not even an anklet. I do hope that soon I will be able to wear my wedding ring again or maybe get hubby to buy me one of those titanium rings if my wedding ring can’t fit my finger anymore.

What’s next after Chinese New Year? We are in the month of February; the LOVE month. We are going to celebrate the last day of Chinese New Year; Chap Goh Mei on the 17th which is the Chinese Valentine’s Day but before that we will be celebrating our 19th year anniversary, 2 days before real Valentine’s Day on the 14th. Hmmm….will there be any gift for me this year?
Isn’t this elephant ring holder beautiful? Since I have a newborn with me, I won’t be able to wear my ring for a while. I do need a ring holder till the ring can enter my fingers again. But then, will he buy for me?

Sunday is the only day when we can have him the whole day. Almost. 10am-1pm we will be in church. After that it is family day.
Unfortunately, since hubby can’t join the church activities on weekdays, they shifted the meetings and men’s fellowship on Sunday night. So far, every other Sunday, hubby will be away from 7pm-10pm. By the time he comes home, all of us will be asleep coz the next day is school day. So we only have him to ourselves for 6 hours or so.
*sigh*

I told hubby that if I were to die first when we are still young, I do not want him to re-marry. I want him to take care of our children by himself. Maybe he can employ a maid to help him but with his mother or my mom’s supervision. I know that I would never re-marry if he dies first. No one can ever replace his place in my life. And I want him to do the same too. I can’t bear seeing him together with another woman. See, I am selfish. hehehe.
He told me that he does not think he will do a good job raising our children all by himself. He said, “Either I die first or if you die, please die together with our children.” Like the option is mine like that.
After reading the touching story, he said, “That’s why I said you must die with your children.”

When it comes to buying gift for hubby, I need to be very practical or else, my gift will be chuck one side. For this Valentine’s Day, I think I will get him a pair for eyeglasses because he did mention that he wanted to change his. I hope he don’t mind if I get him the Zenni Optical $8 Rx Glasses. It is cheap and the ship internationally too. At Great Discovery: Zenni Optical, their glasses are prescription glasses. So I’ll just order according to hubby’s power, and it is ready to wear. Best Thing Found: Zenni Optical does make my Valentine’s shopping easier.

Saturday is going to be an ironing day again for me because the pastor of the church that we are attending is making it compulsory for the church leaders to wear formal shirts and ties during Sunday service. I don’t mind ironing but it means that I have less time to blog and I don’t really like that idea.
If I live in UK, I will sure get the above shirt for hubby. A classic herringbone shirt Non-Iron shirt from Van Heusen. The Van Heusen brand has been around since 1919. Through many years of experience and “evolution” I am sure their shirts comes with comfort and quality. It comes with very attractive price too. If you buy more than 3 pieces, it will only be £25 Each. If you check out their Clearance sale, you can even get a shirt from just £15.
