Hubby got the opportunity to buy over an internet cafe but he let it go because we are not eligible to obtain the personal loan from the bank. Thank God that we did not buy the internet cafe because business in our own internet cafe is slowing down. Even the salesman that sells wholesale computers told hubby that his sales has dropped a lot since last month. For the time being, we have to be contented with just one internet cafe to run and pray that God will bless the business that we will have sufficient income every month.

Hubby is thinking about buying another cybercafe. The price offered is quite cheap. The problem is that even with the cheap offer, he does not have enough savings to buy it. That cause him to think twice about the offer. Furthermore, with the economic crisis that is happening now, the risk would be higher. We would not want to have a lot of bad debts hanging over our heads. Yes, there is debt consolidation services available but being in debt is something that we are trying to avoid in the first place.

Praise God that one of the advertisers that I used to work with, is back in business with me! 3 months ago, his boss put everything on hold because they were cheated by bloggers before; links should be up for a year but after getting the money, the bloggers took it down. In order to be on the safe side, they stopped accepting blogs from me. They wanna see whether those bloggers I recommended will keep their words.
After 3 months and I am totally broke, I shoot an email to him asking about it and PTL! he wants more blogs from me and now the deal is much better for the bloggers. Even PR0 is accepted but with lower pay which is so much better than none. Previously, they only accept PR2 and above.
I hope with the extra cash that I will receive, I would be able to bring my children for a short holiday by the beach and upgrade my laptop memory.
Isn’t our God great. I was whining the other day to hubby that my income this month is gonna be worst than last month and we won’t have enough to pay our bills. He told me, “Why don’t you just pray?” Well, I did just that.

I feel sad that the burden of earning for the family is on hubby’s shoulder now. Sales were not good last month and this month would be slow too due to the school holiday. Hubby did mention a few times that if I am still working, he can do this and do that with his income. Now we are depending on his income, so he can’t spend in on his business to buy more computers and office furniture.
He makes me feel regretful quitting my job!
If I want to go back to work, no one would employ me, because I am pregnant now. I have already reduced our expenses by sending our girls to cheaper kindy, reducing my mom’s allowance, less shopping trip, no new clothes for my girls except for special occasion.
How? Still not enough?
Worst come to worst, I will go back to work after my No. 4 is 6 months old and leave them under the care of the maid while I am at work.
Sometimes I wonder why we women would be willing to sacrifice our dreams for the sake of the family but not the men.

Even the ground floor has been rented but not ours!
Am ranting about hubby’s apartment again. Student does not prefer ground floor because they are dirty. We were surprised to learn from the real estate agent that all 4 vacant ground floor apartment has all been rented.
Hubby had call yesterday and we were pretty convince that they will rent our apartment. We went to meet them but they have no cash to pay for the deposit yet. Told us that they will call today to inform me what time to meet them at the apartment to collect the deposit. When they left, I had the feeling that they will not call.
True enough, none of them call me.
We kinda gave up and will let the real estate agent help us out. Too tired driving there so many times and no deal.

My hubby got an offer to buy one CC. CC means cyber cafe, not credit card. One CC owner who operated near hubby’s CC wanted to sell off his business as he wants to concentrate on his other businesses. The offer is quite attractive and hubby is thinking of buying over the business. His main concern is firstly the capital and secondly the business operating licence. He is not sure whether the business licence can be transfered to a Chinese from a Malay owned licence. If that can be done, a big problem is solved. As for the capital, he is thinking of using his credit cards. Of course, he has to apply to increase his credit card limit. Or maybe we will try and source out the capital from some place else.

Eversince I stopped working, I have to put on hold many of my plans. One of it is changing our car parts. My husband’s car need a new gear box. The present gear box can still be used but it cannot enter into the fifth gear. So the highest gear that we can drive our car is the fourth gear, which can be irritating if we want to drive fast. We also need to change the car seat covers which are already torn in many places. That too we have to put on hold. Will have to wait until we have the extra income before we can implement all our plans.

God answered our desperate cries and lifted up a burden from our shoulder. Finally one of our apartments is rented. Not the price that we want but we are still very thankful that we do not have to pay the full amount of the month home loan repayment.
The apartment is rented to a Jordanian family; a wife and 2 beautiful girls aged 3 and 2. The father is working as a lecturer and study at the same time. He is taking his PhD in English because they don’t offer English PhD in Jordon. I was surprised to learn from him that his pay in Jordan wasn’t that good. For a BA, their salary is only $1k a month. I thought Arab countries are rich. He told me, only the Gulf countries are rich, not all Arab countries.

All of us know that when spending money we need to get the best out of it. For instance when renewing your car insurance, you need to compare car insurance and get the best rate before flipping open your wallet/purse.
Unfortunately that I did not have the luxury to do because I depended on my dad to renew my car insurance because it is still under his name and for the love of his relatives; he bought it from one of his cousins!
Anyway, it was not that expensive but I am wondering whether I could get it cheaper else where.

We are conned; one of the tenants was conned too! They left him alone our apartment not knowing that they have shifted. He did not even know that the deposit that he paid to them was not paid to us! He is cheated. And he is a stranger to them.
We are waiting for them to pay us a sum (for the outstanding utility bills) latest by 10th. If not, we are going to make a police report against them. We told them that. I hope that would make them pay. Hubby was a lawyer before and he knows the hassle of it and hope to settle this out of court.
*sigh*

Poor Amy. She just bought a brand new car and it got hit by a truck yesterday. I just read from her blog that she just brought the car to a temple in Bangkok for prayer and how her son almost vomited in the car and how furious her hubby would be if that really happen. Now this is even worst than a child’s vomit; a hit and run accident! Thank God she can make claims from the cheap auto insurance that they bought. If not, sure heart pain! Then she would need to make claim for her health insurance then!
I told hubby about it. He was not surprise at all. According to him, driving in Bangkok is worst that driving in KL. I really can’t imagine that. I never dare driving in KL! Anyway, thank God that it is only the car that is injured and lives are saved.
If I were her, I would definitely not buy a new car if I were to live in Bangkok. If got hit, I won’t feel the pinch. But I will make sure to arm myself with health and life insurance! If I am hospitalized, I don’t have to spend much for my hospitalization bill and if I am dead, my children are taken care of financially.

Since they cannot afford to pay for the apartment, we suggested they move to our another apartment which is cheaper which is slightly further to the university compared to the existing one but fully furnished compared to the current apartment they are staying in.
They agreed. So went to the apartment to clean and change the floor pvc mat. I bought one whole role of the pvc mat and changed the pvc mat in all the rooms. Balance we used as our outdoor furniture covers.
Unfortunately, they still have not paid the deposit or even this month rental. Promises after promises, still not paid. I guess we will just forget about taking pity of them. We do not want to go to the stress of “begging” for the rental month after month.

For the past few years our apartments were being rented by foreign student. At first we thought we would face problem collecting rental from them but surprisingly, there weren’t a month they delayed paying rental.
Unfortunately, this year we did not get any foreign student to rent our apartment. Now, only one apartment is rented out to a group of local students. One day they agreed to rent, they only pay the first month rental and told us that they will pay the deposit of 2 months plus utilities deposit in a week time. We agreed. Unfortunately, until today the deposit is not paid and we are still awaiting for August rental. They have been promising to pay week after week and until today still no payment from them.
We went to meet them a few days ago and they promised to pay yesterday or they move out but when hubby called, they did not answer the call. Even SMS sent, they did not reply. They told us their problem. We want to take pity of them but when they did not answer our calls, that really gave us second thought.
I wish we can just hire Debt Collection agency to collect the rental on our behalf. Anyway, we will give them until tomorrow. If no calls from them, we will just seal the apartment!

We celebrated my dad’s 63rd birthday today at a small restaurant in town. Being a dad who has gone through tough time earning money for the family refused to let us spend money on just food which will become “fertiliser” the next day. We insisted because this will be one of the few times that the family get together and eat on the same table at the same time.
As his birthday gifts, I wanted to buy him golf balls but I am sure he will object so I gave him cash instead in a form of Angpow. My mom told me that he immediately head to the bank to save the money after I left home. Very typical of my dad. That is why he can bring all the 5 of us up plus my grandfather and grandmother with just RM700 a month!

Ok ok, I admit that I am panicking now.
I have not break the news to my mom yet. I am still acting cool even though to date my earning is less than RM1k and my apartment is still not rented out. Anyone wanna rent is as Holiday Apartment?
Even though I have been bombed, I am struggling to hold every piece of my flesh together.
Why the shopping trip takes so long to arrive one???
Maybe I should look for small business for sale and start my own business while waiting.

God is really testing my faith now. He blessed me so much financially in May that I decided to give 1k to the church mission fund. Last month, my income dropped to almost half; I have yet to write my cheque for the mission fund.
End of last month, the client’s requirement became more stringent. Yesterday I come to know that the company that I am doing business with had a change in management. I do not know whether the new management would still want my service or not. I will know next week. Praying for the best.
A pledge is a pledge, even if I earn only 1k this month, I will give that 1k to God. I have to refrain myself from going shopping often and only buy best buy items!
God never break His promises to bless and I will not too!

Today, I managed to see him off with a camera in hand. :). This is his 2nd attempt cycling to his shop which is 11km away from home. It takes him 45 mins to arrive. It is very tiring but he can manage without any legal steroids. He is hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone; to save petrol and also keep his body fit.
As for me, let’s see whether being a SAHM will help me reduce some weight!

I am so happy that God gave me more opportunity to bless others. I am enjoying His financial blessing now not all by myself but with people who are dear to me, with people that I just met on the internet and with friends that are in need of financial support.
Well, this is the main reason that God channels His wealth to us. Not for us to hoard but to give as He has freely given to us. If only all the rich man thinks the same, I believe there won’t be poverty in this world.

Praised God that we finally managed to gather RM67k for my SIL. All from her brothers and sister; one of the benefits of having many siblings.
I understand from one of my BILs that someone came to harass them for money on Easter Sunday. I wonder whether they are from the mortgage lenders. I hope not. And my SIL locked herself in her room for hours not wanting to talk to anyone due to the stress that she is facing.
Stress is not good coz it fools around with your hormones and this does not help in making her heal faster from her breast cancer.
I really hope that God will heal her ASAP and bless them financially indeed; more job offer for her hubby.
