Love is Blind

So you don’t need diet pills if you are fat. How true is that?

I seen a few on my friends marrying a very fat husband and she is very skinny. They have a happy marriage. But then…

If you are a guy and you are fat, getting a wife is not a big problem if you have a good personality. Most ladies look pass physical appearance but sad to say that most men are not like that. They go for the physical appearance first then personality and character.

That is why diet pills are mostly bought by ladies and not men. Sad isn’t it?

If your love ones have health problem, the most practical gift to give them is medical jewelry, like bracelet or pendant which their medical information can be engraved on it. This is because, in times of emergency, getting to their purse and wallet could cost life. Medical jewelry comes in gold and silver, anyone would look good wearing them.

My dad’s birthday is coming; since he has a heart problem and also suffering from asma, he can’t simply take any medication. I think, I’ll get one as his birthday present this year. :D

Fish Spa

We finally went for the Fish Spa. It was a tingling and ticklish experience. They do not have much customer. If we buy their RM300 package for 10 sessions, we are allowed to bring 10 people per session. That would be RM3 per person an hour. And we paid RM40 each for an hour! I wonder whether they will have more customers if they a branch at Wilmington real estate. :D

massage

This what we did on our anniversary day. We went for a massage. And our body still aches after the massage! Our fault, we did not relax our muscle when being “touture”. My neck and upper shoulder is still hurting and that leaves me with no mood to blog. All I want to do now is sleep, sleep, and sleep. And I did…that night I slept early, yesterday I nap for 2 hours and I slept early again! And today, I want to nap again!!!

Look at the picture…looks like he is putting his face in a toilet bowl eh. Maybe I could get this picture printed on funny t-shirts. :D

Jogging for Genting
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Holiday, Health | icon4 04 5th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

All because we want to have more fun in our coming 2nd Honeymoon in Genting, we forced ourself to wake up early to go for a jog at the beach yesterday and until we feel that we have enough stamina to walk throughout the theme park, enjoy ALL the thrill rides, climbing the X-Pedition wall (rock climbing) and of course more fun in bed.

Unfortunately, our jog turned into just brisk walking coz hubby wanted to poo-poo! :(

Anyway, I did not wanna waste my effort, left him and jog by myself until my perut kaki cramp and until I felt like vomiting. This is definitely one way on how to lose weight.

We Won

We are determine to bring Clarissa to church whether she has temperature or not. The fever left her that night (Saturday night) itself.

So obvious that the devil is playing his game and we won.

All glory to God. :)

Mar 23

And we believe that it is the devil’s work.

Almost every weekend one of my children will fall sick and due to it, we skipped church to care of them and not let other children in church get the virus that they might carry.

Last week, Belle had fever. Today, Clarissa’s turn and we are not going to skip church. We will bring her to church and let the pastor pray for her.

Not going to allow the devil to prevent us from going to church.

Tankless Water Heater
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Health | icon4 03 20th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

Even though I live in Malaysia, I cannot go without the water heater. I used to be able to stand under the cold shower at 7am in the morning but after I have 3 children, I will definitely shiver if I were to do the same. My body is not as strong and healthy like it used to be.

Do you know that in US, their hot water comes from tank? Unlike ours, where we just need to press the button and hot water comes out straight from the pipe. However now they do have the tankless water heaters. I wonder why last time doesn’t have.

Skipped Church Again
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Family, Health, Church | icon4 03 17th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

We skipped church again yesterday because my eldest was having a temperature. Normally we would send them to my mother’s if the sickness is not so serious but yesterday, my mom went to Seremban to visit my aunts. So I stayed home with the kids and let hubby go to church.

It was quite a relaxing Sunday for me. Bathe them, feed them, watch cartoons with them, read with them and of course discipline them when they go over the limit. ;)

He is Down

As I was checking my email, hubby sent me message that he is not feeling well. He is down with runny nose and headache. My heart drops to my tummy! I feel the pain that he has to suffer.

When I called the shop around 5pm, his staff told me that he left the shop. He must be very sick. Quickly rush home after work to him. In the room, he was lying there motionless.

I must try make him feel better. Asked him whether he wants fruits, any special food like soup or porridge, fruit juices? So I ended up at pasar malam with my second girl to buy fruits, tauhuhua and more fruits.

So glad that he is up and walking after eating.

But then ah, when I fall sick, how come I don’t get the same treatment as him? :P

He could at least ask me whether I wanna go shopping. Sure the healing process is expedite.

What is Medicare Part D
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Health | icon4 02 2nd, 2008| icon3No Comments »

Alamak, I got this assignment to write about medicare part d. Why Part D? What happened to Part A-C? Why Part D is so important? So I have to dig the website and do some Google search lar.

Well, Medicare Part D is for people who have very high drug costs. So the US federal government sponsor the cost of their drugs. It the same like we taking free drugs from our government clinic and hospital. But for them, they can also get them for free at the participating pharmacies in their area.

Outward Beauty
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Life, Health | icon4 01 27th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

I thank God that I have a husband, then boyfriend that does not look at the outward beauty. I used to whine (still does from time to time) about how ugly my face is with acne and scars and now with my flabby tummy due to pregnancy. He kept reminding me that God does not see the outward appearance and what is important to Him is our inner beauty; our character, our heart, so does him. That is why above all the acne on my face, he still wants me. *beaming* Some guys would go hiding from me already!

However being a woman, no matter what the husband says about us, we still wanna keep our body sexy. Women are vain, what. :P Some who are lazy to exercise and do not have the strong will to control their food intake will opt for liposuction; one of the easiest ways to loose those stubborn fats. Oh ya, if you plan to go for it, be sure to do some liposuction revision before going under the surgeon’s knife because there are so many types of liposuction.

I waited and waited for my hubby to finish bathing. He has been in the bathroom for more than half an hour. Well, normally he is not this long. Don’t tell me that he is doing his “hubba hubba” which is very unlikely. So I went to the bathroom. The door was locked. There was no sound of water splashing or any activities in the bathroom.

I gently knocked on the bathroom door. He asked who is it. I replied and he opened the door. He is still clad in his towel, standing in front of the bathroom mirror. In his hand he is holding the hair remover clipper. He has been standing there in front of the bathroom mirror plucking out his white hair. Haiyaaa… so that is what he has been doing in the bathroom for the past half an hour.

“Wah…so many white hair de.” I told him as I noticed the many strands of white hair on the sink. “If you continue doing that, sooner you will need to do a hair transplant, I continued.

He replied, “No need lah, I already married you”. Hahahaha….maybe I will get a bald husband. It’s okay as I still love him.

Feeling Fat
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Health, Marriage | icon4 01 19th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

I really don’t like feeling fat. I know I am fat because my tummy is bulging and my pants are tight. And also when you are in bed, going hubba hubba, not only you do not have much stamina to last as long as possible but the scene isn’t nice seeing so much flab, flabbing away.

So now, I am thinking, should I or should I not get the eca stack or any diet pills to help me burn my fat faster. I can’t fast because I will surely have gastric attack. I can’t run and swimming pool is too far away from home. How?

Rugby Podcast
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Health | icon4 01 14th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

I am not sure whether I can really understand sports fans around the world who would go through various hassle to see the game that they like. Most of my guy friends would not hesitate to stay up late after midnight to watch their favorite show, especially if it is the final match of the season. And when they meet each other, the game would be one of their favorite topic in their conversation. I thank God that my hubby is not like that though he likes to play soccer. He told me that he prefers to play the game itself and not be a spectator.

He even told me that he wanted to play rugby but did not have the opportunity to do so. The school that he attended does not have a rugby team. I am sure that if there is a rugby team in the school, my husband would have been a rugby player too. Then he too would love to watch the RBS 6 Nations tournament. And if he is really into the game and wants to be updated about the game, he would definitely subscribe to the rugby podcast service offered by rbs6nations.com. Hahaha…instead of playing his online Mosiang game, he would be playing online rugby game. I wonder whether that would be better game for him than Mosiang game.

Fasting
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Health | icon4 12 28th, 2007| icon3No Comments »

I have not been fasting for ages. Today I will officially start my fasting which I will skip my lunch until CNY. I am not fasting for spiritual reason, more of dieting.

I think this is healthier way of dieting than taking weight loss supplement like hydroxycut for fast weight reduction. Anything that is F.A.S.T without the “ing” will surely have negative side effect in the long run.

I want to loose weight gracefully. :D

I will also start swimming again after I get rid of my runny & itchy nose! Sometimes I feel like plucking my nose and send it for overhaul!

My aim is to loose 5 kilos and to get rid of my pregnancy flabs too.

Maid For MIL
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Love, Health | icon4 11 11th, 2007| icon3No Comments »

It looks like the maid would not be arriving on the expected date. It seems that she has yet to report to the maid agency in Indonesia. We were advised to wait for another week. If she comes then it is well and good. However, if she still fails to report then we would have to apply for another maid. That would mean that we have to wait for another month. If that were to happen then we would most probably get a temporary maid first.

When hubby told his mother about it, she was not worried about not getting the maid so soon. I guess that she is now healthy again and life is back to normal for her. I wonder whether her children would send her to the nursing homes if ever her health is deteriorating. Looks like not many of them would be able to care for her on a daily basis as most of them are working. If ever we have to decide on that matter, I believe the most important factor that should override all other factors is love. Love covers all.

Nose Block
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Take Five, Health | icon4 10 4th, 2007| icon32 Comments »

I always experienced nose block and my nose is very sensitive to just a light hit. Like when my children accidentally hit my nose with their forehead. This will cost me to sneeze non stop for a few minutes. I wonder whether Chicago rhinoplasty could do something about it.

I know Rhinoplasty is usually done to reshape the nose in order to improve its appearance, like making the bridge higher. Many Asian really needs this. :P As for me, I am thankful with what God has blessed me with. You know, we are fearfully and wonderfully made. :)

It seems that besides for the purpose of beauty, Rhinoplasty may also help to alleviate some breathing problems. But this cost a lot of money too. Since I don’t have much to spare, I will just trust God for His healing touch. That’s the best Rhinoplasty in the world! :D

I wanted to sign up for yoga class a few years back but my husband did not allow me. He told me that it has something to do with chanting, meditation and mantras that are not for the believer of Christ. I just obeyed without finding out more about it. Ya, I am a good wife. :P

Today I found a website that talk about Kundalini yoga exercises.

In Kundalini Yoga, great emphasis is placed on chanting and meditation. The Kundalini means coilded snake in the body can be awakened by practicing Asanas, Pranayama and Mantras. Once the Kundalini has been awakened, individuals may feel a variety of experiences including sensations along the spinal cord, trembling, tingling sensations, waves of heat, bursts of joy and even transcendental visions. Some believe that activating the Kundalini energy begins the path leading to Enlightenment.

By practicing yoga, indirectly we are practicing their beliefs and their ritual too.

Elephant Needs Pedicure Too
icon1 Michelle | icon2 Health | icon4 07 29th, 2007| icon3No Comments »

How I know? I worked in the zoo before! Nah… Visit the zoo also hardly.

I came to know about it as I was reading OBD last Friday titled Pachyderm Pedicures. That’s pedicure term for elephants. If elephants in captivity don’t get regular foot care, they are prone to infections that can be fatal.

I was curious how it is done so, I Google search about it and found this video. However I don’t see the lady using any elephant flipper to hold the elephant. Must be a very tame elephant. :)
