MIL and her maid is back. According to SIL, they are back for good but I am not jumping for joy yet. Anything can happened within these few months before the maid return to her country for good.
Since Sunday is the only day that hubby is at home the whole day and night, I took this opportunity to go for a movie with hubby while our children is being babysat by MIL and her maid.
When you have a baby that still breastfeeds, timing is very important. Must choose a movie that starts before 8pm so that I can be home by 10.30pm for my baby next feed.
So last Sunday night, we managed to watch The Prince of Persia show at 7.55pm. No movie night for us this coming Sunday though coz MIL and her maid are going to another BIL’s house for a visit. Hmmmm…maybe we can. My mom is around. hehehehe.

What we did not do was going for Satay Celup dinner because it was raining quite heavily and this wife doesn’t want to get wet walking from the car park to the restaurant. Well, when it is raining, you tend to run to get out of it and I can’t do that anymore with my 8 months tummy.
So I picked a place where there is sheltered car park. We ended up at MBO cinema watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Our dinner was a quick bite of Fish and Chips at Marry Brown. By the way, we did not park at the sheltered car park because by the time we arrived there, it was only drizzling.
I was telling hubby that we could only go for our 2nd honeymoon during our 10th Annivesary that is when our 4th child is already 2 years old and hopefully he/she has weaned of from breastfeeding.
Would love if we could afford to join the New York City Sightseeing. Cruising on the top deck of the double decker bus, admiring the high rise buildings in New York City and visit places of attraction in NYC especially their museums. If it is God’s will, one day we will do just that because there will be many more anniversaries to come.

I love the movie! And the songs…love it! love it! love it! I grew up listening to ABBA. My first English songs.
In the movie, Pierce Brosnan spoil the song. He cannot sing ABBA song! His voice just does not fit in. He can be Bond, the lover, the father but not a singer! But he still looks soooooo handsome after all this years. He is another version of Richard Gere!
Just listen to this one…
It started so beautiful with Colin Firth singing it but once Pierce Brosnan came it. Alamak!

She was cursed with a pig nose due to her great great grandfather’s sin. The only way to break the curse is when “One of her own learns to love her.”
When we hear that, our first thought will be. Must get her to marry a man of her own kind and that man must love her. Unfortunately, none of her own wants to marry her for who/what she is.
Only when she accepts herself, the curse is broken. Then only her mother realised that if she were to love her daughter for who she is (because her mother is her own kind too, need not be a man), the curse may be broken long time ago.
The moral of the story is…God has made us special. We must learn to accept ourselves and love ourselves. How can you expect others to love you if you don’t love yourself?

We end our most stressful month (for me at least) by watching The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. This time we went to GSC at Mahkota Parade after our bad experience at GSC, Dataran Pahlawan. And this time we save some moolah by not buying any titbits; no drinks, no popcorn, just the movie ticket at RM9 each.
How’s the movie? I watched The Mummy and The Mummy Return and I don’t quite like Brendan Fraser coz I hate the stupid George of the Jungle movie but this one I like coz it has Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li. That is the only reason I wanna watch the movie; Asian actor. hehe

Our night out again. I thought we won’t be going anywhere because we are financial tight but hubby decided that he still wanna go catch a movie. I happily oblige but we make sure we take our dinner at home so that we only spend on the movie tickets, pop corn and drinks. Next week, we must do without the pop corn and drinks.
It is great to still be able to take a break away from home and the children and just be with each other enjoying a movie together without needing to pause the movie to make milk, bring the children to the toilet or break a fight.
Being a married couple we need to make time for just US. Don’t you agree?

We went to watch Wanted just now at GSC, Mahkota Parade; I love their caramel popcorn! Wanted is a movie that portrays that it is alright to kill others for some balance in the world. Last 2 weeks we watched Made of Honour that portrays sleeping around is acceptable! Movies are trying to numb us from the sins of man!
Anyway, I am not motivated to kill after watching Wanted but I am motivate to exercise after seeing how fit and slim Angelina Jolie is. I jumped 10 minutes on the trampoline just now!
For faster result to get the Angelina Jolie body, take Fentraphen.

Yesterday we went to watch Hancock. It was a good decision to bring me away from my laptop for a few hours. I was too stressed up over the uncertainties of my online job.
This time around I picked GSC instead of MBO because I miss their Caramel Popcorn. Much to my surprise, the ticket price is only RM7 compared to MBO RM9 for new movie.
The only scene in Hancock that I really LOL is the part where he was testing whether Mary Embrey is as strong as him. Poking her with the big fork, hitting her head with the roller etc.
Being that strong, it is impossible to poke a needle through their skin to get some blood for DNA testing to find out what made them the way they are.

We went to watch Prince Caspian at MBO Melaka. First time watching movie in that cinema.
Since I read the book, I kind of have certain expectation on the movie. Praise God that there was a balance in the movie. Certain scenes are not to my expectation and certain scenes are beyond my expectation.
Overall I love the movie.
